Slater Bikes have originally started with frames for the kids as they weren’t satisfied with the offer on the market. These days they make a solid Dirt Jump frames as well and one of this frame rides Ramon Piky. Ramon is a Spanish shredder who is not afraid to send it big or shreds some technical lines in the skatepark. You can check some bangers vis his Instagram or Ramon’s latest video edit below! Now, let’s check more details of this Slater Bikes build. Rider – @ramonpiky

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when I ask you for “short description of your bike”?

“A great machine”, “versatile”, “toy”.

Do you have any favorite setup or bike part that you always use, for a new bike build?

Yes, the frame especially. It’s a perfect size for me and I would want to ride it as long as possible. Nowadays I’m so glad about my fork, and it’s been a good combo with the frame. I would like to keep that combination forever.

Are you able to choose one part, product or its feature that really surprised you and improved your feeling of riding your bike?

Of course, the frame’s geometry has surprised me, talking about dirt jump, park, and street. It’s an Alu frame, strong and lightweight; it’s very short, to have the loop control that I need and improve my whip tricks. Another part that got me fascinated was the rear tire. It surprised me because it’s grip is perfect for any situation: both on park and dirt jump.

Do you build your bike, let say more universal or do you focus on a one “discipline” (dirt, park or street) and build it that way?

My bike works on any terrain. I ride it in the street, park and dirt jump. The way you ride it, that’s an important fact.
